Do you know about the only script created exclusively for women in the world? In Jiangyong County, Hunan Province, there is a special script that records the local dialect and has been passed down only among women, called "Nüshu" (Women's Script). Often embroidered on handkerchiefs or written on fans, its characters are as delicate as flowers, expressing women's emotions and narrating their stories. In feudal times, it served as their secret communication device to bring solace and subsistence to their minds. Jiangyong Nüshu, which has stepped out of the boudoirs, is showcasing the wisdom and strength of Chinese women to the world.
