“汉语桥”加拿大学生文化交流团
在广州中医药大学
举办开营仪式。
此次中医药文化探索之旅的主题为“问道岐黄·逐梦湾区”。来自加拿大针灸中医学院的18名师生，将在海南、广东共7个不同城市进行沉浸式主题体验活动。
On March 17th, the opening ceremony of the "Chinese Bridge" Canadian Student Cultural Exchange Program was held at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, marking the beginning of a 14-day exploration of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) culture. A group of 18 students and faculty members from the College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Canada will participate in immersive-themed activities across seven cities in Hainan and Guangdong provinces.
开营仪式上，广州中医药大学校长王宏斌在致辞中表示，中医药已传播至196个国家和地区，113个世卫组织会员国认可使用针灸，国际影响力持续提升。希望通过这次交流，大家能领悟到“阴阳平衡”“治未病”的中医智慧，并成为中华文明献给世界的礼物中医药的传递者。交流团领队、加拿大针灸中医学院院长李彤希望以此为契机，深化双方在中医药领域的交流与合作。
“现场看到火龙灸感觉很震撼！”“我要学中医！”“中医好嘢！”“得闲饮茶！”开营仪式后，交流团员们开心地与广州的记者一字一句地学起了实用粤语。
"It's astonishing to watch the fire-dragon moxibustion in person!" "I want to study TCM!" "TCM is amazing!" "I will call you!" After the ceremony, the exchange group members happily learned practical Cantonese word by word with journalists from Guangzhou.
“我每天早上要练气功，我喜欢早餐吃加入鸡肉和姜的粥。我会跟肠胃不舒服还喝冷水的邻居朋友说，你们应该喝热水！”Elena原本是一位西医，自从30多年前接触了气功后，她爱上了气功和中医。在加拿大针灸中医学院系统学习并考取执照后，她在美国波士顿开了间中医诊所。
"I practice Qigong every morning, and I love having congee with chicken and ginger for breakfast. I always tell my neighbors who still drink cold water when their stomach is upset that they should drink hot water," said Elena, a former Western medicine practitioner. More than 30 years ago, she fell in love with Qigong and TCM after being introduced to them. After pursuing systematic study at the College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Canada, she obtained her TCM license and now runs a TCM clinic in Boston, the US.
火龙灸、雷火灸、棍针、温通拔筋罐……广州中医药大学第二附属医院医生护士现场展示各种中医传统疗法，令包括Elena在内的交流团员兴奋不已，每个人都一边用手机记录一边频频提问。
“现场看到火龙灸感觉很震撼！以前我也尝试过类似的隔姜灸。”Elena说，“我想把这些神奇的中医技艺都带回国，介绍给朋友！”
At the event, doctors and nurses from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine showcased various TCM therapies, including fire-dragon moxibustion, thunder-fire moxibustion, stick acupuncture, and Wentong Bojin cupping. The exchange group members, including Elena, were thrilled by the scene, recording videos and asking various questions.
"It's incredible to see Fire-dragon Moxibustion on site! I've tried similar ginger interposed moxibustion before," said Elena. "I hope to bring these fascinating TCM techniques back to my country and introduce them to my friends!"
随后，交流团一行前往学校药王山观赏各类岭南中医药用植物，在学校青蒿抗疟援外团队老师的指导下，聆听青蒿在全球医学史上的贡献，亲手种下青蒿幼苗。
“这个旅程真是太棒了！令人大开眼界和改变人生经历。”Alya是位年轻的00后，但她说自己最感兴趣的是中医药背后的哲学和文化底蕴，“当我们说到中医药时，我们家乡很多人会以为就是针灸。但我认为，中医药远不止针灸，它包含了食物、气……它是一个全面的艺术，它可以治愈人的身体和心灵，包括重病时的治疗，也包括生病之前的预防。”
"This journey is truly amazing, eye-opening and even life-changing," said Alya, the generation born in the 00s. She expressed a deep interest in the philosophy and cultural foundation of TCM. "When we talk about TCM, most people in my hometown think it's acupuncture. But I believe TCM is far more than that. It encompasses food and Qi. It is a holistic art that can heal both the body and mind, covering not only treatment for severe illnesses but also prevention before sickness."
