2024年是极不平凡的一年，中华人民共和国成立75周年，党的二十届三中全会胜利召开。这一年，我们在市委、市政府的坚强领导下，围绕高质量发展这个首要任务，团结一心、砥砺奋进，各项事业取得了长足进步与发展。
过去的一年，我们抓发展、拼经济，全力提升高质量发展“含金量”。GDP增速和人均GDP均居全市前列，区级一般公共预算收入再创历史新高，改革创新和对外开放亮点频出，一批知名企业、重大项目纷至沓来。
过去的一年，我们抓机遇、强动能，充分激发创新发展内生动力。“最虹桥”品牌不断打响，“数字长宁”优势巩固提升，虹桥海外人才一站式服务中心焕新升级，“上海硅巷”建设蔚然成势。
过去的一年，我们抓民生、提品质，用心用情托起群众稳稳的幸福。首次由人大代表票决产生的38项为民办实事项目全面完成，“一刻钟便民生活圈”建设提速提质，愚园路、武夷路成为Citywalk好去处，教育医疗、养老托育优质均衡发展，长宁健儿在巴黎奥运斩金夺银、勇创佳绩。
大道至简、实干为要。2025年是“十四五”规划收官之年，也是科学谋划“十五五”、加快推进长宁现代化建设的重要一年。我们将深入学习贯彻习近平总书记考察上海重要讲话精神，全面贯彻落实中央和市委、市政府决策部署，坚持稳中求进、以进促稳，守正创新、先立后破，加快建设具有世界影响力的国际精品城区。
我们将锚定高质量发展首要任务不动摇，以国家重大战略为牵引，以改革开放为动力，以科技创新为引领，培育和发展新质生产力，全面构筑发展新动能，推动区域经济实现质的有效提升和量的合理增长。
我们将深入践行人民城市理念，以百姓心为心，以群众事为事，兜牢民生底线，办好民生实事，增进民生福祉，让公共服务更有力度、幸福生活更有温度、民生答卷更有厚度。

A new chapter begins year by year. At this beautiful moment of bidding farewell to the old and welcoming the new, the Changning District Committee of the Communist Party of China and Changning District People’s Government extend New Year’s greetings to the people of the entire district and best regards to all friends at home and abroad who care about and support the development of Changning!
It is an extraordinary year of 2024, marking the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the successful convening of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
In 2024, under the strong leadership of the municipal Party committee and municipal government, we united and forged ahead around the primary task of high-quality development, and made significant progress and development in various undertakings.
In the past year, we have focused on development and economy, and made every effort to enhance the "gold content" of high-quality development.
The growth rate of gross domestic product and per capita gross domestic product both rank among the top in the city, and the district general public budget revenue has reached a new historical high. There also frequent highlights of reform, innovation, and opening-up, and a number of well-known enterprises and major projects coming in droves.
In the past year, we have seized opportunities, strengthened momentum, and fully inspired the endogenous driving force of innovative development.
The "Most Hongqiao" brand continues to rise, the advantages of "Digital Changning" are consolidated and improved, the one-stop service center for overseas talents in Hongqiao is revitalized and upgraded, and the construction of "Shanghai Silicon Alley" is thriving.
In the past year, we have focused on improving people's livelihoods and enhancing quality, using our hearts and souls to support the stable happiness of the people. The 38 practical projects for the people, which were firstly decided by the district people’s congress, have been fully completed.
The construction of the “15-minute convenient life circle” has been accelerated and improved, and Yuyuan Road and Wuyi Road have become good destinations for Citywalk. Education, health care, and elderly care have developed in a high-quality and balanced manner. Changning athletes won gold and silver medals at the Paris Olympics and achieved outstanding results.
The general laws are always simple and practices are always important. The year of 2025 is when the 14th Five-Year Plan comes to an end, and it is also an important year for scientifically planning the 15th Five-Year Plan and accelerating the modernization construction of Changning.
We will deeply study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech during his inspection of Shanghai, comprehensively implement the decisions and deployments of the central leadership, municipal Party committee, and municipal government.
We will adhere to the principle of seeking progress while maintaining stability, promoting stability through progress, upholding integrity and innovation, establishing before breaking through, and accelerating the construction of an international community of excellence with global influence.
Guided by major national strategies, driven by reform and opening-up, and led by technological innovation, we will unwaveringly anchor the primary task of high-quality development, cultivate and develop new quality productivity, comprehensively build new driving forces for development, and promote the effective improvement of regional economy in terms of quality and reasonable growth in terms of quantity.
We will deeply practice the concept of people’s city, for people’s hearts and matters with our own, firmly defend the bottom line of people’s livelihoods, do a good job to enhance people’s well-being, and make public services more strengthful, lives happier and warmer, and answers to people’s livelihoods more substantial.
