国防部：中印两军落实边境问题解决方案进展顺利
The MND: Smooth Progress Has Been Made by the Chinese and Indian Militaries to Implement Border-related Solutions
12月26日下午，国防部举行例行记者会，国防部新闻发言人张晓刚大校答记者问。
记者：据报道，近日中印边界问题特别代表进行会晤，达成六点共识。双方同意进一步加强外交、军事谈判协调配合。请问接下来如何将双方共识落实到实操层面？
Question:It is reported that Special Representatives on the China-India Boundary Question held a meeting recently. The two sides reached six points of consensus. Both sides agreed to further enhance coordination and cooperation in diplomatic and military negotiations. How will the two sides act on these consensuses in the future?
张晓刚：近段时间以来，根据两国领导人达成的重要共识，中印双方通过外交和军事渠道就中印边境局势保持密切沟通并取得重要进展。目前，两军正在全面有效落实双方就边境有关问题达成的解决方案，进展顺利、效果良好。
Zhang Xiaogang: Based on the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, both sides have maintained close communication on the border situation and achieved great progress. At present, the two militaries are comprehensively and effectively implementing the resolution, and steady progress has been made.
中印关系重回正轨，符合两国和两国人民的根本利益。中国军队愿与印方一道，认真落实两国领导人重要共识，推动更多交流与互动，促进两军关系发展，共同维护边境地区可持续的和平与安宁。
Bringing China-India relations back to the right track is in the interest of the two countries and the two peoples. The Chinese military is ready to make concerted efforts with the Indian side to faithfully implement the important consensus of the two leaders, conduct more exchanges and interactions, and promote China-India mil-to-mil relationship, in a bid to jointly safeguard lasting peace and tranquility in the border areas.
