“It was with great delight that I saw the recent notice (Lin Hu Fa 2024 No. 67) on pangolin conservation measures jointly announced by the National Forestry and Grasslands Administration, the National Traditional Medicine Administration and National Medical Products Administration on 13 November 2024.
I write on behalf of WildAid to express our congratulations on the clear and important conservation actions specified in the notice. We are especially encouraged by this resolute set of actions as important for the effective protection and conservation of pangolins.
I also offer our continued support and partnership with NFGA and relevant authorities to help in successfully implementing the prescribed conservation actions for the needed stated outcome of creating a new situation of joint protection of pangolins by the whole society.
