Recently, survey of 1,001 participants conducted by the Social Survey Center of China Youth Daily in collaboration with the questionnaire platform (wenjuan.com) revealed that 82.0% of respondents have a habit of digital hoarding.
The survey further indicated that photos, chat logs, and audio-visual content were the three most commonly hoarded types of electronic data. Additionally, 53.3% of respondents view digital hoarding as a form of psychological comfort, believing that "saving equals control”.
