Centrum Air launches direct flights from Tashkent to Guangzhou
11月25日02:55，一架乌兹别克斯坦中亚航空C6511航班客机平稳降落在广州白云国际机场，这标志着塔什干至广州直飞航线正式迎来首航。该航线是乌兹别克斯坦中亚航空在中国的首条客运航线，白云机场以民航界最高礼仪“水门礼”迎接新航线开通。
On November 25th, the inaugural flight of C6511 from Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan, landed on Baiyun International Airport, marking the opening of the new direct flight route between Guangzhou and Tashkent. This is also the first passenger route launched by Centrum Air in China.
The flights will be operated twice a week by Airbus A321neo aircraft. Outbound flights will depart from Guangzhou at 4:35 a.m. local time every Monday and Thursday, and arrive in Tashkent at 8:50 a.m local time. Inbound flights will depart from Tashkent at 5:35 p.m. local time every Wednesday and Sunday, and arrive in Guangzhou at 3:15 a.m. the following day.
此次开通的塔什干往返广州新航线，每周提供两班服务，塔什干至广州的航班每周三、日执行，航班号C6511，航班时刻17:35-03:15（+1）；广州至塔什干的航班每周一、四执行，航班号C6512，航班时刻04:35-08:50。该航线将由空客A321飞机执飞。（以上时间均为当地时间，具体航班执行请以官网查询为准。）
首航仪式上，乌兹别克斯坦驻广州总领馆总领事Sultanbek IMAMOV对航线的成功开通表示热烈祝贺，并强调此举对加强两国经贸合作、文化交流及人民间友谊的重要性。他指出，广州作为中国南方的经济、文化和科技中心，与乌兹别克斯坦首都塔什干之间的直飞航线将为双方提供更多合作机遇，促进两地间的深入互动。
This new route is expected to strengthen business and tourism ties between Uzbekistan and China, offering more travel options for passengers looking to explore the growing economic and cultural exchanges between the two nations.
塔什干，作为乌兹别克斯坦的首都，是一座融合了历史与现代的城市，不仅在中亚地区具有举足轻重的地位，也是“一带一路”沿线的重要贸易国之一。哈兹拉提伊玛目清真寺、帖木儿广场等，都是值得一游的景点。

Star Alliance opens first Asia lounge in Guangzhou
11月21日，全球最大的航空联盟——星空联盟在广州白云国际机场（CAN）正式开设其首个位于亚洲的品牌专属休息区。自21日起，新休息区将面向从一号航站楼出发的星空联盟成员航空头等舱和商务舱乘客，以及持有星空联盟金卡的旅客开放。
Star Alliance, the world's largest airline alliance, opened its first lounge in Asia at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province, on Thursday, providing services for its First and Business class passengers.
全新的星空联盟品牌专属休息区，坐落于一号航站楼国际区域的现有白云机场贵宾休息室上层，为星空联盟成员航空的旅客提供专属的休憩空间。航班起飞前，旅客可在休息区提供的舒适环境内放松或工作。休息区位置优越，毗邻星空联盟成员航空所在的出发登机口，设计采用开放式布局，750平方米的空间可容纳多达100位宾客。全天24小时开放，满足不同航班时间的旅客需求。
The lounge features an open layout and offers 750 square meters of space, which can accommodate up to 100 guests, according to the airline alliance.
"As a key strategic hub in Asia, Guangzhou serves as an important gateway for our guests – we are very excited to inaugurate our first lounge in Asia, given the significance of the continent to aviation growth today and in the years to come," said Theo Panagiotoulias, chief executive officer of Star Alliance.
The lounge provides travelers with the flexibility to relax, work or refresh before their flight, all while enjoying a wide range of refreshment options and services tailored to their needs, according to the alliance.
Opening its first branded lounge in Asia at the Guangzhou airport is not only a sign of trust and support for the airport but also an acknowledgment of the status of the airport as an important international hub, according to Qi Yaoming, deputy general manager of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
Given its growing importance as a major travel hub in Asia, Star Alliance will open a new branded lounge in the upcoming Terminal 3 of the Guangzhou-based airport.

Ten Star Alliance member airlines operate from Guangzhou, including Air China, ANA, Asiana Airlines, EGYPTAIR, Ethiopian Airlines, EVA Air, Shenzhen Airlines, Singapore Airlines, THAI and Turkish Airlines, offering 774 weekly departures to 50 destinations in 10 countries and regions.
