On November 9th, the 15th National Games will mark its one-year countdown. Teams are getting ready, and the final preparations are underway. The charge toward the Games has reached full speed, and the Greater Bay Area is in the home stretch of its organizing efforts.
The 15th National Games will be held from November 9th to 21st, 2025, across Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, with Guangzhou hosting the opening ceremony and Shenzhen the closing ceremony. The Games will feature a total of 34 sports, including 401 events, and 23 mass participation sports, comprising 166 events (including 19 competitive sports with 145 events, and 4 exhibition sports with 21 events).
The Guangdong region will focus its event distribution around Guangzhou and Shenzhen as central hubs, with other cities in the Greater Bay Area taking on key roles. A total of 15 cities will host the events, with Guangzhou taking on 136 events and Shenzhen taking on 82.
Guangdong has confirmed 78 venues for the competitive sports of the 15th National Games, with over 90% of them being existing facilities that will be renovated. The majority of these venues are expected to be ready by the end of 2024, with all renovations and construction set to be completed by the end of March 2025.

11月9日，第十五届全国运动会迎来倒计时一周年。厉兵秣马，整装待发！全运冲锋的号角已经吹响，粤港澳大湾区进入到全运筹备的冲刺阶段。
十五运会将于2025年11月9日至21日在粤港澳三地举行，其中广州承办开幕式，深圳承办闭幕式。十五运会设竞技体育项目和群众体育项目。竞体项目共34个大项、401个小项。群体项目共23个大项，166个小项（其中比赛类19个大项、145个小项，展演类4个大项、21个小项）。
广东赛区项目分布以广州、深圳为核心，粤港澳大湾区城市为重点，共15个城市承办赛事，其中广州承担136个小项，深圳承担82个小项。
广东已明确承接十五运会竞体项目场馆78个，90%以上利用现有场馆进行维修改造。绝大部分的场馆将在2024年底完工，2025年3月底前完成所有场馆维修建设工作。
