驻场之前，Jonathan在大英博物馆展览了解到龙泉青瓷，收到龙泉望瓯·陶溪川的驻场邀请时，Jonathan便决定远赴中国，体验龙泉青瓷，这跨越国界的艺术之旅，既是对青瓷技艺的学习与探索，也是对中华传统文化的深深致敬与传承。
Jonathan Keep is an innovative ceramist with a unique and creative style. He excels in combining traditional ceramic and glaze crafts using 3D printing technology, creating quirky yet elegant artworks.
His works showcase a striking contrast between smooth glaze and elegant form in his ceramic, an artistic effect he intends to convey. Bold and imaginative, he balances intuition with analysis, resulting in innovative yet refined and aesthetic creations.
Prior to his residency, Jonathan discovered Longquan Celadon in the British Museum in London. Invited to Longquan Wangou Taoxichuan, he traveled to China to experience it personally. a journey honoring both craftsmanship and Chinese culture.

Jonathan respects ecology, regards human beings as nature, and upholds the worldview of evolutionary and ecological balance. He firmly believes that the beauty of the world comes from nature and is determined to pursue the realm of biological aesthetics. Through artistic creation, he is eager to build a bridge for human beings and nature to have spiritual communication and dialogue, and jointly explore the infinite charm of life.

乔纳森决心将陶器打造为时代印记，他巧妙融合计算机科学与传统陶艺。受计算机代码模拟自然生长的启发，他创新了制作方式：先以代码勾勒出陶器的形态，利用陶瓷挤压3D打印技术，将数字设计精准转化为实体，层层卷绕间，陶器成型，既蕴含现代科技的力量，又不失自然之美的韵味，完美诠释了乔纳森对时代与自然的理解。
Jonathan was determined to make pottery an imprint of the times.He skillfully combines computer science and traditional pottery.Inspired by computer-simulated growth, he innovated: outlining pottery shapes with code, then using 3D ceramic printing to transform designs into tangible objects, which not only contains the power of modern science and technology, but also does not lose the charm of natural beauty traditional pottery. It explained Jonathan's understanding of the times and nature.
