Since the beginning of the summer holiday season, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, famous for its unique peaks, strange rocks, deep valleys, and gorges, has attracted 1.5808 million visitors.
暑期以来，以奇峰怪石、幽谷深涧闻名于世的张家界国家森林公园，已吸引158.08万人次前来观赏。
In 1992, Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area, which consists of three major scenic spots including Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, was included in the UNESCO World Natural Heritage List. To promote the protection of world natural heritage, the scenic area has established a forest chief accountability system, work consultations, and a three-level forest chief cross-inspection system. It has also hired 154 ecological forest rangers to carefully protect this "World's Green."
1992年，由张家界国家森林公园等三大景区构成的武陵源风景名胜区，被联合国教科文组织列入《世界自然遗产名录》。为推动世界自然遗产保护工作，该风景名胜区建立林长述职、工作约谈及三级林长交叉巡林督查制度，聘请154名生态护林员，精心呵护这抹“世界绿”。
Wulingyuan Scenic Area has always prioritized resource protection. Every year, it carries out land greening efforts, with last year alone adding 1,000 acres of new forests and improving 750 acres of forest quality through subsidy projects. Additionally, efforts to protect wildlife have been strengthened, with the establishment of a wildlife resource protection coordination mechanism and a focus on monitoring wildlife diseases. Continuous efforts have been made to safeguard the blue sky, clear water, and unpolluted land. The area has set up high-positioned camera video monitoring and fire prevention platforms, along with drone patrol platforms, to pilot the construction of a forest fire prevention and control system for the World Natural Heritage Site.
一直以来，武陵源风景名胜区重视资源保护，每年开展国土绿化行动，仅去年就新增造林1000亩，森林质量提升补助项目750亩，同时加强野生动植物保护，建立野生动植物资源保护协调运行机制，重点做好野生动物疫源疫病监测。持续深入打好蓝天、碧水、净土保卫战，建立高位摄像机视频监控防火平台和无人机智巡平台，推动世界自然遗产地森林防灭火体系建设试点。
Wulingyuan Scenic Area is also leveraging scientific research to promote the heritage and development of world natural heritage protection. Currently, it has partnered with Central South University of Forestry and Technology to complete the province's first rhesus monkey population control project and has collaborated with Jishou University to establish platforms such as the Biodiversity and Ecological Environment Monitoring Base and the Special Flora and Fauna Research Base. These initiatives aim to advance research on the ecological monitoring and spatial distribution patterns of amphibians and fish species.
武陵源风景名胜区还借助科研力量，促进世界自然遗产保护的传承与发展。目前，已与中南林业科技大学完成全省首次猕猴种群调控，与吉首大学合作共建生物多样性与生态环境监测基地、特色动植物资源研究基地等平台，推进两栖类与鱼类生态监测及多样性时空分布格局研究。
Today, the forest coverage rate in Wulingyuan Scenic Area has reached 77.91%, with Zhangjiajie National Forest Park boasting a forest coverage rate of 98%. The area is home to 2,266 species of plants and animals. The unique scenery of "3,000 Peculiar Peaks and 800 Graceful Waters" continues to dominate the social media feeds of visitors from around the world.
如今，武陵源风景名胜区森林覆盖率达77.91%，其中，张家界国家森林公园森林覆盖率高达98%；动植物品种多达2266种；“三千奇峰，八百秀水”的别样风景，“霸屏”了各地游客的朋友圈。
